Overview

Since 1925 the Overholt family and Tiger General LLC have been building  Swab Master Swab Rigs, Winch Bed and Winch Tractors, Vacuum Water Trucks, Double Drum Work Over rigs and all kinds of special truck bodies and equipment. Tiger General sells new and used medium and heavy duty trucks.


Business Situation

When we inherited their website, Tiger General was experiencing a sharp downturn in website traffic, and in turn, leads for their variety of oilfield trucks. The company had tried other offline forms of advertising before and were interested into tapping into the online market and letting their website sell the trucks for them.

Technical Situation

While Tiger General had been using a website to generate leads for quite some time, the original site was in desperate need of redesign to improve user experience and accessibility across mobile devices, as well as address some underlying and problematic areas as to how it was originally built. Tiger General had already been using Google Analytics to record information about their audience, but had no marketing strategy to use the data. There was a sharp downturn in traffic over the 6 months leading up to contact with ProFromGo and we suspected an algorithmic Google penalty was likely the culprit. Business leadership was also displeased with the process of listing inventory for sale which entailed contacting their web designer, sending images and information, and then waiting for them to add the new products to the website (and the ensuing invoice).
