HubSpot & Salesforce Sign Agreement Until 2020

HubSpot has recently extended its partnership with Salesforce for another five years, until 2020. HubSpot has been able to leverage the impressive and robust technology behind Salesforce1 to provide their app services, and will continue to use the Salesforce technology to maintain and improve upon its apps.

Salesforce Rapid Deployment

Though most know Salesforce as a cloud-based sales and customer relationship management solution, Salesforce1 is a separate service which provides an infrastructure for rapid application development and deployment. Native mobile apps have become critical to the success of a business within the last few years, and HubSpot's business model requires integrated networking and continuous connectivity.

By extending their integrated services agreement with Salesforce1, it is indicated that HubSpot will continue to develop its mobile services and that their use of Salesforce1 has been beneficial. Salesforce has been listed as one of Forbes most innovative companies, not only for its web-based services but also for its forays into mobile development infrastructure.

HubSpot's Platform and Services

HubSpot is a marketing automation platform that provides tools for social media management, email marketing, blogging, and provides great insights into each individual lead or customer's buyer's journey. Consequently, HubSpot handles significant amounts of traffic and needs to be able to scale to manage its load through available web infrastructure. This also shows the necessity of a mobile and accessible platform for all of these content creators and content consumers.

As a revenue-generating platform, HubSpot must also track earnings and other financial data -- and this necessitates high levels of security. By using an established application platform, HubSpot is able to push its development into the more important areas and focus on customization rather than having to implement basic application features.

HubSpot and Salesforce

Salesforce1 doesn't just provide rapid development for apps, it provides a complete social customer relationship management solution that can then be tailored towards the business. Salesforce1 boasts near instantaneous deployment and dedicated support and technology teams.

HubSpot also has an optional service called Sidekick, which facilitates populating data on customers and potential leads into the CRM primarily by hooking into your email. Sidekick also gives you the ability to see if individual emails were opened and/or if and which links were within that email were clicked. The Sidekick browser extension also allows you to populate data into your CRM from the HubSpot Insights database while browsing the web with Chrome.

Consequently, HubSpot and Salesforce1 are poised to work extremely well together, as Salesforce1 perfectly fits in with the needs of HubSpot and can better facilitate the needs of HubSpot's customer base. Through the renewal of this agreement, HubSpot has stated a continued commitment to "solving for customer needs."

HubSpot and Salesforce1 will be working together to continue providing HubSpot customers with quality mobile app services until 2020, with this integrated services agreement in place. Those with HubSpot can now look forward to expanded future offerings with this agreement in place for 5 more years.
